By making a donation to us, no matter how small or large, you will be making a contribution to the vital services we provide. Donations can be made by cash, cheque or bank standing order. You can print a bank standing order form (further down this page) and then complete it and post it to us.
You
can donate online using a CAF CharityCard. To make a donation
or find out more about CAF CharityCard click on the CharityCard
Symbol.
You can make your donations worth even more by using Gift Aid.
One of the most convenient ways of making a donation is through the 'Charity Choice' website, http://www.charitychoice.co.uk/
This is a secure and well established organisation who have agreed to take donations on our behalf using a secure internet payment system. Just go to the website, click on 'Search' and in the box that comes up, type 'Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind' and on the page that opens up, you will see a big 'Make Donation' button. Just fill in the amount, your details, plus your card details and away you go! It's that simple.
You also have the option of remaining anonymous, but if you can, please tell us who you are so we can get extra money from the government in the form of a tax rebate.
If you pay UK income tax we can also claim a tax repayment from the Inland Revenue, currently equivalent to just over 28 pence for every £1 donated. There is only one very simple form to complete which you can print (further down this page) and you only have to complete the form the first time you make a donation to us. More information on Gift Aid is available from the Inland Revenue website - Gift Aid (IR65).
Available in Word or text-only formats.
