MACS Interview Lord Blunkett

MACs logo We have been asked by the  MACS charity to let our younger clients know about this event:

Afternoon Tea with Lord David Blunkett – Breaking down barriers

MACS, the charity for children born without eyes or underdeveloped eyes, are hosting an event with Lord Blunkett in Sheffield on 3pm to 5pm, 24th March at the Royal Victoria Hotel in Sheffield. MACS’ young reporter will be interviewing Lord Blunkett, the first blind cabinet member, about his career and how he broke down barriers to rise to the top of government. This will be followed by audience questions and refreshments.

This event is aimed at young people aged 12-25+ with eye conditions and/or visual impairment, and their parents, friends or family members. We regret that this event is unlikely to be suitable for children under 12. Those under 18 will need to be accompanied by an adult.

The event will be filmed. This is a small event, with limited spaces, so this will be first come first served. There is no charge to attend this event.
