Northern Ballet’s brand new production Gentleman Jack tours to Sheffield Lyceum from Tuesday 31 March to Saturday 4 April. There will be an audio described performance on Saturday 4th April at 2:30pm.
Masters of storytelling Northern Ballet bring to the stage the extraordinary story of Anne Lister – better known as Gentleman Jack. Inspiring biographies, novels, a hit TV series and now a ballet, this thrilling production choreographed by Annabelle Lopez Ochoa is performed to new live music.

The live audio description will be delivered by ex-premier dancer Pippa Moore MBE and a specialist VocalEyes practitioner, bringing the performance to life in your mind’s eye with vivid descriptions of the movement, action and drama that takes place on stage.
At the free Touch Tour Insight 12:15 to 1:30pm, you will gain a deeper understanding of The Nutcracker as you hear descriptions of the scenery, with the opportunity to see and feel some of the costumes.
