We are really missing our team during the lockdown, that’s for sure. So we are sure our clients are too. Here is a little reminder of what our team members are usually doing when not under house arrest. We are going to feature members of the team each week...
Julie is one of our minibus drivers. Normally, they are out and about in the city picking up around 30 people each week day to bring them to our Mappin Street Centre so that they can take part in activities, meet their friends and access other services.

In more normal times, the minibuses are also used to take our clients out on trips and on other social, leisure and sporting activities.
Julie is known for her sense of humour and is always ready to have a laugh with our clients. She (along with our other drivers) provide a vital service for many of our clients, many of whom might struggle to get out otherwise and would be at risk of social isolation, something they are now unfortunately experiencing.
