It has just been announced that at the meeting of the Sheffield City Region Combined Authority Transport Committee on 19th May there is a recommendation to restore all the local travel concessions for disabled people in South Yorkshire. This means free travel at any time on buses, trams and trains in South Yorkshire and free travel on trains in West Yorkshire to/from South Yorkshire.
