Our RP (Retinitis Pigmentosa) Group visited Cambridge recently. SRSB clients and staff along with members of staff and an Ophthalmic Consultant from the Hallamshire Eye Clinic and Sue from RP Fighting Blindness, followed up some research that they had been taking part in by visiting the University.
The group were given a tour around the labs and given information about research. They also went around the Eye Clinic where the students do their training.
Everyone is keen to continue with the research being carried out, which is investigating how visually impaired people manage day to day tasks.
