The team at SRSB would like to pay tribute to our long standing volunteer David, who very sadly passed away recently. We were all devastated to hear this news as David has been such a big part of our charity for so many years.
He volunteered at many of our fundraising activities and he was also an 'ideas man' who suggested many new events, one of them being the Teddy Bear Parachute, which we have run for several years at Owls in the Park and at Lowedges Festival. David was a regular volunteer at store collections and his enthusiasm and contribution to our charity was so important to us and so appreciated. |
David was very well thought of by staff, other volunteers and clients, he was a good and selfless man. He was great company and had become a friend to many of us.
Our deepest condolences to David's family for their loss. We hope that they can take some comfort from knowing how well thought of he was, how much he will be missed, and that we will always remember him.
