Introduction to the Role
Volunteers access free Level 1 and Level 2 training to become My Guides.
The aim of the service is to support visually impaired people to reach a personal goal and is limited to a time frame which is agreed at the outset of each project. This service is delivered in partnership with Guide Dogs charity.

Skills required:
It is essential that you are a fully sighted, friendly, patient, caring person who enjoys socialising and helping other people.
Time Involved:
A committment of 2 hours per volunteering session is required.
Where the role is based:
At various locations in the Sheffield and Rotherham community.

PLEASE NOTE: We are not currently accepting applications due to the COVID-19 situation, as our centres are closed. When restrictions are lifted we would be very pleased to hear from you.
