Citywide consultation begins to shape sport & leisure facilities and services
Sheffield City Council is asking for everyone’s views to help re-shape sport and leisure facilities and services to deliver the outcomes in Sheffield’s Move More Plan and contribute towards wider strategic priorities.

The feedback received will help us ensure our indoor and outdoor sport and leisure facilities and services are modern, welcoming and inclusive and create opportunities to encourage more people to be more active, more often.
We will be carrying out consultation across the city including a city wide online questionnaire, targeted consultation to ensure that minority groups and those who face barriers to accessing leisure activities are represented and online focus groups in each Local Area Committee area.

We will also be sending a separate survey directly to National Governing Bodies and Clubs during the consultation period to ask for their views
We also inviting people to get involved in online focus groups in each Local Area Committee (LAC) area. These will be held 6pm to 7:30pm on the following dates. They are open to anyone living or working in each LAC area who wants to have a say about sport, leisure and physical activity facilities and services in their local area.

- East: Mon 24th Jan 2022
- North-East: Wed 26th Jan 2022
- North: Thurs 20th Jan 2022
- South-East: Wed 19th Jan 2022
- South: Thurs: 27th Jan 2022
- South-West: Mon 31st Jan 2022
