A few of our clients are telling us about an App called Be My Eyes which they are finding really useful. It puts somone with sight loss in touch with someone who is sighted and they can ask them (via a live video connection on their smart phone) about things like out of date food, or if there is a post box on a street etc. This is only currently available for Apple products, but may be available for other plaforms in the future.
