SRSB Client Featured in new Sheffield Art Exhibition
Ivy is one of SRSB's clients and she is a regular visitor to our centre each week. Whilst out on one of our supported shopping trips to The Moor Market, Ivy and one of our volunteers, were asked if they would be willing to be photographed by Chris Saunders who was taking portrait pictures for a project representing the mix of visitors to the city centre market.

From the range of photographs, a few were chosen to be made in to large scale portrait paintings by artist Andrew Hunt, and Ivy was one of those selected! We joined her at the press launch earlier this week and were blown away by the work. The exhibition, which begins 17th May (Thurs 11am to 7pm, and Fri, Sat, Sun 11am to 4pm) is at Persistence Works Gallery on Brown Street, Sheffield.
Ivy and the others models were interviewed by Look North, BBC Radio Sheffield and the local papers this week! She commented that "It was marvellous, they gave me five star treatment and I will always remember it! Everyone says how good the portrait is."
We are planning to take groups of clients to visit the exhibition over the coming weeks.
