Request for Walking Guides

Do you like walking in the countryside? Would you like to help other people while doing something you enjoy?

Sheffield Visually Impaired Walking Group (SVIWG) has asked us to share this request. SVIWG has been in existence for 22 years and is a lively group of visually impaired and fully sighted walkers  Who regularly enjoy days out walking in and around Sheffield. Check us out on our website.

We are currently looking for new guides due to an increase in visually impaired members. The only qualifications needed are a love of walking and a good level of fitness. Training will be given. A friendly personality and a sense of humour would be a bonus. Don’t be shy, we are all very approachable and helpful.
