Gripple is an innovative local company that manufacture wire joiners and tensioners and we had a great year working with them.

After our first visit to SRSB’s Mappin Street Centre, there was no doubt we wanted the SRSB as one of our 4 chosen charities for 2011!  We were so impressed with the facilities and programme of events taking place and loved the family, caring atmosphere.  We asked Sue and Jane for a ‘wish list’ and chose the Christmas parties as our all important goal to aim for. Our highlight was visiting the Little Sparklers group in January and hearing what a good time was had by all. We like to take the word FUN from FUNdraising – because that’s exactly what it is!  If you fancy giving it a go, the SRSB is a great cause and Sue and Jane are a delight to work with and will give you all the help you need.” Lesley Wainwright, Gripple Charities Team. “The JLD were proud to name the SRSB as their nominated charity early in March 2011. We chose the SRSB as they are a local Sheffield based charity who receive no national contributions. The team down at the centre made it enjoyable to raise funds as they are all so helpful and passionate about what they do. They attend our events and also invite our members to their events which also involves a very enjoyable quiz evening at the Queens Head Pub. I personally shall be advising future committees to continue supporting the SRSB”. Zarvin Vandrewala from Irwin Mitchell. Education and Charities Rep for Sheffield & District JLD in 2011/12.
