Sessions at Grenoside, Sheffield.  1 to 3pm. Horses are therapeutic in all sorts of ways, and people with sight loss often benefit just from contact with them, as well as learning to ride or reconnecting with previous riding experience. Grenoside Equestrian Centre has a range of instructors and a selection of horses and ponies. There is a soft surface arena to learn the basics, try dressage or develop new skills, and access to Greno and Wheata woods for riding in a beautiful environment away from any roads.

You'll be matched with a suitable horse and ride in a group with people of similar ability and progress. Equipment is provided.

We do not underestimate the emotional and physical benefits of contact with horses, and people of all ages have explained the positive impact this activity has had.
