Singing Group

Every Wednesday.

SRSBs Mappin Street Centre. Mondays 10:30am to 12:30pm

SRSB runs a singing group each week. Singing is believed to be a great therapy with many benefits, and the group sing for pleasure, with the joy of singing coming first. It is a chance to meet socially as well as enjoying singing together with a wide range of songs.

The group has gone from strength to strength since began when an Occupational Therapy student set it up and is now facilitated by a volunteer (and one of the singers).

Our singers have performed in several places, including the Winter Gardens, the Town Hall, at several care homes, churches and companies around Sheffield, as well as at our Mappin Street Centre events.

The group also took part in a project with Sheffield Hallam University to produce a movie which you can view on our SRSB in Action page.

If you are a client of SRSB and would like to get involved please contact Annette at SRSB/RSS on 0114 272 2757 or email info@srsb.org.uk
